The 2026 Pan-African Event Production, The Wilderness, is coming to Hayward on Saturday, August 29, 2026. The Wilderness is a story of a young girl experiencing the realities of life through the domino effect of the Atlantic Slave Trade, as a vessel of the Diaspora. We witness her trials and tribulations as she learns to stand in her authority in a world that told her lies told through music, theater, dance, spoken word poetry, and fashion—a free community event.
