Dorothy Dominique: Founder & Creative Director
 

Ms. Dorothy Dominique is a Bay Area creative producer, storyteller, and community arts leader whose work brings together music, theater, film, poetry, and youth creative development. She founded Hidden Jewels Unleashed to create meaningful artistic experiences that connect creativity, culture, and community.

Her creative practice has evolved from producing theatrical productions and youth arts programming into developing original music, songwriting, live performance, and multidisciplinary creative projects. She is also the author of the self-published poetry collection Broken. Canvas!.

Through Hidden Jewels Unleashed, Ms. Dorothy continues to build opportunities for young people and emerging artists to develop their voices, share their stories, and create work that connects with audiences.

 

 

Abayomi Lewis: Artist & Assistant Creative Director   

Abayomi is a Bay Area artist and performer whose work brings together music, poetry, storytelling, and live performance. Her creative voice reflects a growing interest in using music and performance to explore identity, emotion, and personal experience.

As a creative collaborator with Hidden Jewels Unleashed, Abayomi contributes to the development of original artistic work while continuing to grow as a songwriter, vocalist, and performer.

Her work represents the next generation of artists emerging from the creative community cultivated through Hidden Jewels Unleashed.

 

Marie J. Nazire: Assistant Program Manager
Marie supports the Program Manager in executing various initiatives. She assists in planning, organizing events, and maintaining program workflows, contributing to a cohesive team environment and ensuring seamless operation of all projects. As the Assistant Program Manager, Marie oversees all aspects of operations and strategic planning. She ensures the alignment of our mission with community needs and fosters partnerships to enhance the impact of our program. ​

Adonna Bailey: Visual Art Teaching Artist 

Adonna is a visual artist and teaching artist who brings creativity, imagination, and hands-on artistic exploration to Hidden Jewels Unleashed programming. Through workshops and creative activities, she encourages young people to express themselves, explore new ideas, and develop confidence through art.
